What did the students and researchers supported by C.M. Lerici Foundation do? And what did they do after?
Eleonora Galante, MA student in Choreography National Dance Academy in Rome, received a scholarship from C.M. Lerici Foundation in 2019.
She spent a period of research at the Doch University of Dance and Circus UNIARTS in Stockholm as well as in the Ballettakademien Stockholm.
She had the chance to discover and explore the Swedish University environment, studying closely the teaching method of many renowned dancers and choreographers, learning their teaching strategies, pedagogical objectives and method. The training method they applied was particularly interesting for her, since it was based on the personal and creative growth of the students, on team work and multidisciplinary lessons.
Once back to Italy, she used the different elements and dancing techniques that she learnt in Sweden to conduct her classes and workshops.
You can find her final report about her Swedish experience on our website in the Projects’ Archive section (here in Swedish, here in Italian).
