Since in these days we have to spend more time at home, why don’t we deepen our knowledge about Scandinavian literature?
“Storia delle letterature scandinave” (“History of Scandinavian Literatures”) is a broad historical-literary volume that traces a millennium of Scandinavian literary history, through the most significant voices and movements of each period, framing authors and works within cultural and socio-political dynamics, from the origins till today.
The protagonists are the Danish, Faroese, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish national literatures, with their ancient variants and with the addition of the active Swedish minority of Finland, including classics such as Tove Jansson.
The book was published in 2019 by the Italian publishing house Iperborea, with the support of C.M. Lerici Foundation.
