My name is Giulia, and I am just back from an amazing month at Uppsala University.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia where I study ethnobiology in the Eastern European context.
Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies – IRES is a department of Uppsala University devoted to research concerning Eurasian and Russian contexts from a multidisciplinary perspective. Here I learned about several aspects of Eastern European history and politics through their weekly seminars, and lively lunch discussions with my colleagues.
I enjoyed a lot the mild and sunny Swedish autumn, berry soups, and visiting Gamla Uppsala.
